Anyone have a definitive answer to the question... On my '91 Jeep Wrangler with the fuel injected 4.0L high output 6cyl., and 3spd. auto trans. What is the most common reason that the ENGINE IDLE SPEED fluctuates so dramatically? It has an aftermarket intake, and throttle body and shorty header with cat and some performance muffler. What's the cure? Anyone? Thanks.

Allright, It looks as though I'll have to sell my BMW if I want to get a new bike. Since I want a DRZ400sm, I'd be willing to trade. yours+ cash. Mine is valued at $10,000.(kelley blue book.) In it's present cond., I'm willing to drop the price a couple thou'. It needs Tires, tubes, brake pads, and grips. It has 38,000mi and is in excellent cond. otherwise.

Where are they?

Ok, so all the drz's are in the valley, or further away. That's ok. I haven't received the money yet anyway. Really want one. The problem is going to be getting rides just to view them. No guarantee that I'm going to buy it when I get there either so I might need several rides. That's a little...difficult. People just aren't up for that. Ya' know, people are simply too busy. It's not laziness to understand the idea of "nothing to do" and to be able or willing to appreciate it. Relax a little more. Back when we were cavemen, the whole day was about minimizing stress. Now, in this day and age, it seems as if everyone makes their lives more stressful. On Purpose! They just HAVE to completely fill their day with tasks and chores that they feel MUST be done today. Right friggin now! You're being led, by the hand you proffer, into what amounts to SLAVERY. Oh, alright "Indentured servitude?" We've all been brought up to believe that work is life. Wrong. Man, what a drag!

Ok, it's been a while, I get it. This broken legs shit is just kinda getting on my last good nerves. Keeps me from caring about...anything! I just want to ride again. I want a drz400. So I can make the bike I always wanted from the beginning. Don't get me wrong, I really like my BMW but, it's just too heavy. Oh sure, it's pretty fast. I don't get to use that speed very often though. I'd rather have something I'm not worrying about all the time. If you dump a DRZ and it's what, 60-70 bucks? The Beemer? 200-300 bucks. And that's just a minor tip over! Why? It's not THAT much better. In fact, The price alone makes it more stressful for the guy with very little income. It seems to me that it's just another dick measuring device. So many people tout moderation, so few practice it. Is that the new scorecard? How much of a hypocrite can I be? (I know, good luck getting anyone to admit that)

I wish there was...

...a way for the injured to get enough $$$$ to pay the bills and get what they need, based on the projection of a settlement, that didn't cost such an obscene amount. These companies are claiming to help those in a bind with medical bills and other necessary expenses. Yet they're only helping themselves. They charge more than is fair for what they do. And many just accept it. They believe they are in trouble, and they accept whatever they can get right now. Their decision based in fear. They've become prey. And NOW they're really in trouble. In the end some may get more than enough to pay the fear. Most do not. It really is disgusting where we, as a nation, have gone. That we all not only allow this type of robbery, but condone it under the guise of "business". Business my ass, it's theft! How could we? Honestly, how could we? What's the solution? I only know one solution. Stop endorsing it but, that only works on me. No one is willing to stop. Stop buying crap, stop paying for the cheaper knock off when a better quality product is available. Stop driving big gas guzzlers, stop thinking that you need the biggest, fastest, most decadent thing available to drive! In the motorcycle world there is this big push for bigger and bigger engines 1200cc or more! More power! It means I have a bigger dick! Yeah, whatever. Those days are over boys! Now it's about intelligence. Well, electronic assistance anyway. Think of this, 400cc's v-twin 6 speed with a really tall sixth gear IN ANY STYLE OF BIKE! From sportbike to dual-sport to cruiser. It would save the country.
